We have had the pleasure of being able to talk with one of the most reliable sources in the world of football, currently. We discussed Real Madrid’s transfer plans, Santi’s way up to the journalist world and the potential outgoings.
I started my career in 2015 or maybe early 2016. I wasn’t officially a journalist yet, but I had information. Me and my team had created a Twitter account on PSG, very similar to yours (MadridXtra) and had given quite a few exclusives like the signing of Mbappé and Neymar to PSG. This is how it all started. Afterwards I made it my job, it was my dream and I have not looked back since.
Real Madrid’s transfer plans:
From what I know, Real Madrid want to sign at least one midfielder and are exploring the possibilities of signing a player in the attack and on the left side this summer.
Kylian Mbappe:
Mbappé’s situation is still the same as last year. He is waiting if PSG implement the promises he was given to extend regarding the signing’s they discussed. He wants a sporting project and a team that is able to achieve the goal of winning the Champions League. PSG missed this promise in their last Mercato and put the blame on Antero Henrique. In October, Mbappé made it known that he was very unhappy and was ready to leave PSG. The news was true. Since then, things seem to be “changing” at PSG – they are targeting the profiles of players they discussed with Kylian.

Jude Bellingham:
Bellingham will be a Real Madrid player. Only a few details remain before the deal is fully completed. All the big clubs have made offers and some have offered more than Real Madrid. But the player was convinced by the sporting project and dreamed of joining the Spanish giants. He had been talking to some of his Dortmund team-mates about it since last year. Juni Calafat has had many meetings with the father, like the one with the player’s father on the day of the Chelsea and Dortmund game. Juni Calafat played a big role.

Striker situation:
Real Madrid like Randal Kolo Muani, as I told you a couple of months ago. But there is nothing advanced for the moment. Many clubs are looking at his situation – his price is complicated, very expensive. Over €80m, for sure.
Moussa Diaby? I have no confirmation about this interest or any contact from Real Madrid.

Ferland Mendy:
He is open to leaving Real Madrid. But he also feels well at the club, we must wait on this because there has been no offers and nothing is advanced with any clubs for the moment.

The full-back situation:
I have no information on further full-back names as potential signings. All I can say is that Achraf Hakim dreams of returning to Real Madrid one day.

Kingsley Coman:
In November, Real Madrid were interested in Coman, as I told you before. They imagined proposing a swap deal, because he is very expensive but this is far too complicated. Therefore, I believe the interest in Coman has ended, especially with Eden Hazard set to stay as Real Madrid needed to cut his wage bill.

Gvardiol:
Real Madrid have an interest in Gvardiol, he was very keen on joining Real Madrid. However, he is very expensive. Gvardiol has received many offers since January, especially from the Premier League. These offers include Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United who are willing to offer big money for the player.
