Real Madrid very recently signed one of the best talents in world football — he goes by the name of Endrick. Endrick is a 16 year old striker currently playing for Palmeiras. He was officially signed by Real Madrid last December after a long and hard fight with Europe’s top clubs.
Endrick received interest from clubs such as Barcelona, Chelsea, PSG and more but it was Real Madrid who got the Brazilian’s approval. Endrick’s idols are Cristiano Ronaldo and Viní Jr. The player previously stated that both players played a big role in his decision to join Los Blancos. Especially Viní Jr.
After signing for Real Madrid, Endrick went through a rough patch to the point where Juni Calafat, one of the biggest figures in Real Madrid’s success in recent years, had to fly to Brazil to speak to him and restore his confidence. Unsurprisingly, you could say it worked.
Endrick scored 4 goals since the news of Juni traveling to Brazil were published and is now producing a good return in the Brasileiro with 2 goals in 4 games despite starting only once (something Real Madrid are not happy about).
Today, reliable Brazilian outlet UOLEsporte published that Real Madrid are not happy with how Palmeiras’ coach Abel Ferreira is handling Endrick.
Real Madrid feel that the coach is poorly exploiting Endrick’s potential and limiting his movement on the pitch. The article also adds that Real Madrid feel that Abel Ferreira’s tactical scheme does not favor Endrick’s goalscoring characteristics.
Not just Real Madrid, but fans on social media have shared the same opinion regarding Abel Ferreira’s handling of Endrick with some calling him a manager that doesn’t appreciate talent.
Despite their dissatisfaction, Real Madrid are not worried, they are patient and confident in Endrick and will not put more pressure on him. In addition, they are very happy with the his displays and the goals he has scored very recently.
Endrick will arrive at the Santiago Bernabéu in the summer of 2024 with a lot of expectations and excitement towards him, something that his idol Viní Jr will help him overcome.
