Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham has a personal agreement with Real Madrid. The English star has agreed on every detail Real Madrid have offered, confirmed by the reliable Fabrizio Romano.
Jude Bellingham’s Real Madrid contract could include a €1B release clause, a detail that is common with Real Madrid when signing a World Class player or renewing a starting player.
What is left to complete the deal is an agreement with Borussia Dortmund with Romano saying that it is usually the easiest part since Real Madrid share an excellent relationship with the German Club.
Fabrizio has also given a somewhat bold statement saying that he ‘thinks Jude Bellingham will be a Real Madrid player’.
Another important factor in this deal is the ‘timing’ the Italian Journalist says. Borussia Dortmund are fighting to win the Bundesliga and Real Madrid respect this and want to progress carefully.
Jude Bellingham would/will be an excellent addition to the Real Madrid squad, Los Blancos have labelled him as a ‘generational’ talent and the missing piece to complete their midfield transformation.
Real Madrid want to complete this deal in May to not complicate things and avoid any potential problems. Los Blancos’ CEO José Ángel Sanchéz will have a meeting with Borussia Dortmund leaders in Germany very soon to agree on a fee + add-ons.
It remains to be seen when Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund will achieve that agreement, but it looks like it’s heading in a positive direction.
