The 20 year-old French international, Camavinga received a blow to his left knee in the 84th minute of Real Madrid’s clash vs Getafe on Saturday night.
The player looked to have twisted his knee when in a duel with an opponent and immediately asked to be substituted and naturally this caused huge concerns amongst the Real Madrid fanbase with the team taking on Manchester City in the Champions League semi-final on Wednesday.
Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti stated: “Camavinga has just a knock to his left knee, he is young and he will recover fast. I think all players will be ready for the game vs Manchester City. The starting line-up is decided, I have no doubts.”
Ancelotti added: “Camavinga’s knee is stable. 100%. There’s a bit of pain but it’s NOTHING. He will rest tomorrow and will return in training on Monday.”
Carlo Ancelotti’s statements are certainly reassuring for Real Madrid and the fans as Camavinga has been one of the Real Madrid players who has played in the most number of games this season showcasing excellent form and was talked about as one of the best performers vs Manchester City in the 1st leg.
The reliable, AranchaMobile reports that everything indicates Camavinga will play on Wednesday, it does not seem serious but tomorrow he will undergo an MRI scan to know precisely if he has any injury.
